My mother tells me that my best friend is having an affair with India's most famous cricketer ever.
"Whaaat?"
"Yes, the rumours are true. They've been seeing each other for years."
"But I know every tiny little disgusting detail of her life, and this is the one thing she chose to hide from me?!?"
"I've known for years, she asked me not to tell you."
"But...blah blah blah..."
Of course, it's just another one of my stupid, weird dreams. My mother and my best friend have never met nor spoken to each other. At one point they could not even stand each other, yes despite the fact that they had never met (but that's a whole other story). I hate cricket, and if my friend had to have an affair, I'd be the first to know. And a couple of hours later the whole world would find out (through her not me!)
So my question is, what the hell is up with my subconscious? Whaaat????

As JohnG [commenting on my blog] says, Strange dreams abound'.
You are going to fall in love with someone in the cricket world. But because you're fighting against it [you don't like cricket], you've decided to make your best friend fall in love with the cricket person. Your mother and best friend will agree with this love :-)
Now that's some interesting dream :D
@GG - Scarily enough, that sounds like it could make sense. Damn, you're good! Now you better not be right LOL!
@BM - More freaky than anything else really :-)
No accounting for dreams. Last night I was staying, with a fellow blogger who I have met, at an ancient aunt's house and she suggested we may like to pay £2 a night for the privilege. I agreed.
The blogger was wearing a skirt which she said had been modelled on one of mine.
Make of that what you will.
I reckon dreaming protects you from madness.
Aah, once upon a time long long ago I was convinced I was going to marry Sachin Tendulkar :)
