All the different love stories that keep us alive

Eating ripe fruit together on a humid July night in Bombay.

Walking on the sands of Miramar at dusk in May.

Drinking one bottle of Thums Up over three hours.

Sneaking into empty flats, past nosy neighbours, on curfew days.

Sipping sweet red wine in December, in the hottest place on Earth.

Singing songs while riding pillion, on quiet moonlit nights.

Songs that once were the heart's delight and now just itch old scars.

Making banana pancakes for breakfast, drizzled with honey, licking some off your nose.

And hot and sour shark fish curry for lunch, with crisply fried red snapper and crunchy peppered squid.

Falling in love again. And again.

And again.

Staying in love, through all the pain.

Finally letting go on the day that it rained.

Watching your loneliness pull in someone from the cold.

Someone who makes you feel young again

And carves you out of your very soul.

Playing Kiss Me over and over, lips stuck

And bodies entwined. Pleasure centres alive.

Making love on a January morning.

Breaking up on a February evening.

Waiting for December to finally end...

Happy New Year GG! Will try to do a post soon. I have been busy and now I'm down with a bad cold and cough. How are you doing? And how is Mum?
Hugs...
