What I think about when I'm not thinking

Sometimes, a paradigm shift is all it takes. I became a lot happier when I switched from thinking 'I have nothing' to 'Nothing has me.'

The best cure for chronic illness is chronic love - for one's self.

Healing the pain begins by feeling the pain. But first, you need to stop feeding it.

You fall, you pick yourself up. You get pushed down, you stand up again. You jump off willingly, you climb back up. And sometime during the third act, you begin to understand that life is really about what happens while you’re getting up again, no matter how or why you went down in the first place.

It's funny how we avoid stirring the pot in fear of causing an upheaval, but we forget that the pot is always on the boil and if you don't stir it every once in a while, the bottom will start to burn.

Life is easy, it's we who are complicated. All it takes is simple choices; recognize the truth, do the right thing, go the distance.

If you don't take a bite out of life every once in a while, some day it will just swallow you up whole.

People define you by the events in your life, while you give that honour only to the thoughts inside your head.

Using too many people to fill the void left by one is like wearing both shoes on the same foot. Unnecessary, uncomfortable and ultimately, doesn't serve the purpose.

The only way our relationships can be black and white is if we change the settings on our cameras.

The good thing about being broken is that you can become something entirely different after fixing yourself.

As long as our dreams outnumber our memories, we’ll be fine.
