We're all about love. From the moment we drag ourselves out of bed in the morning until late at night, when our sleepy eyes finally shut with the light from our touchscreen devices fading into screen-lock mode. We're ruled by love and it's love that drives every single choice we make. We love waking up to music and butterfly kisses and warm-as-cocoon cuddles. Or we love springing out of bed and getting in that first rush of adrenaline, while mentally planning our day or even week. We love indulgent long showers or quick cold ones, and some of us love to linger in bed just a little longer - a couple more minutes of shut-eye, one more yawn, one more stretch. We love our morning coffee and nothing can come between us and that first sip. We love our tea and we love it just so. We love breakfast in bed or we love whipping up something to suit our moods with our favourite playlists egging us on in the background. We love eggs and warm buttered toast or we love tucking into a big bowl of Mama's love. We love dressing up or dressing down. Even the clothes we don't pick tell us how much we love the ones that we do. We love our kohl-defined eyes and nude lips or we love saying a ruby-stained Hello! to the world. We love driving to work or being driven. We love the familiarity of a daily commute - recognizing the same faces, acknowledging and smiling at the ones we like, and working up the courage to speak to the ones we more than like. And some of us love the fact that work is wherever we're at. We love kissing goodbye to the ones we love, and some of us can't wait to leave the ones we're supposed to love, so we can spend the day with the ones we'd like to tango with in our dreams. We love the work we do or we love the work we don't do but yearn for all the same. Even when we hate the things in our lives, love is always there, simmering beneath the surface or smiling out of our pores. It's in the choices we haven't made but wish we had. It's in the people we've driven away but have never really let go of. It's in the secret desires we continue to fold even while ironing out the creases in our existence. We're all and always about love. We just don't realise it.
