So 2009 has finally come to an end. I can't remember much of what happened from January to October! After that, it's been pretty hectic and lively. Especially December! I love December again, and even with all the sticky emotional stuff, I'm okay with it all. I have opened my arms to everything that's coming my way now. It's not as easy as I make it sound though. I still cry like a baby when I'm alone (like I just did a couple of hours back!), and my mind still freezes with fear sometimes. But on the whole, I'm getting there. Feeling a whole lot better and raring to go.
I thought I would be spending New Year's Eve by myself, home alone tonight. But life is full of surprises and I love it when they are the good kind :-) So exactly 10 minutes after I had wiped my tears from crying earlier, my phone rang (out of the blue) and a couple of wonderful people invited me over. It was so lovely and unexpected. I feel so lucky and blessed. I really do.
So, I'm off now to bask in the warmth and love of beautiful people. I wish you all a very Happy New Year. May 2010 be absolutely rocking for us all. Have a blast!
Thank you all for reading my blog and always leaving me with words of comfort and solace. I appreciate it all, and cherish each and every one of you. Lots of love and hugs!

My dear CC,
May the New Year, now upon us, go quietly and gently for you. And may your resilience and resistance grow as your self-esteem comes flooding back.
I discovered your blog due to Gauri Sarang, who's my student from SIJC. Here's to friends forever.
Love to your wonderful Dad and Mum.
Peace and love,
- Joe.
That's a good start to what I feel will be a happy new year for you. Love the moon photos - it looks different over there:)
Happy New Year CC...wishing you much joy, friendship and laughter in the days ahead.

Thank you all for your wishes. I hope 2010 is wonderful for each and every one of you. Here's to you another year of interaction with such a great bunch of folks! Lots of love and hugs to you all.
@BM - Did you take the pix? Would love to see.
@Himanshu - YOU should take pix. You're the ace photographer. Please teach me!
@Diwakar - That is so cool! Hope you had a blast.
@Mentalie - Thank you, Oh Wizardess of Words! I LOVE the way you think and write.
@E - I had a lovely time baby. Write to me... Love you lots and lots too.
@Joe - Friends are the glue that holds us together. Wish you and your family all the love and happiness in the world. Maybe you will start blogging with a bang now :-)?
@Pat - If you say it, then it will be a great year! I love your positivity and spunk, which never fails to lift up my moods. Lots of love to you and MTL.
@Corinne - Thank you and I wish you the same and more! Hugs!!!
Last night I wondered if you were okay, if you were alone. I didn't go anywhere, I was with my mama and that was great.
Crying is good. Google it, you'll see why.
I've been moon-watching too, and I saw the many phases just as you've shown here.
I'm one of the most fearful people I know. I decided to fight fear everyday with positive thoughts, I've even forced myself to find them. After a while, it gets as easy as breathing.
wonderful pics Cloudcutter...guess what? The lady from the moon suddenly came to our place last night and the three of us had the most wonderful time bringing in the new decade
And I absolutely agree with Mentalie.
@GG - Please wish Mama from me. Wow! We were looking at the same moon, and I can't believe you thought about me. I was also thinking about you while talking about all the wonderful people I've met thru blogging.
"After a while, it gets as easy as breathing." You hit the nail on the head, as always my friend.
@Knife - Lucky lady from the moon. She spent the night with angels :-)
And you and Mentalie are agreeing on a lot of things these days huh? My chocolate monsters!
Guess we have our head in the clouds :)
I recently found your blog and even though I don't know much about you (I know much more after today's post), I think you're a good photographer. I love taking pictures myself and have invested in a decent Digital SLR cam with 10mm zooms. Although my next big buy will be a NIKON D200, with 18-200mm zoom lens.
I enjoy your writing so far. Gonna get myself some tea and settle down to read through the rest of your blog. Blog on!
Oh, and fabulous New Year to ya!
oye. what fabulous shots i tell ya. baker girl, don't mope. you are on to big things. mwaaaaaaaaaaah.
@Eveline - Thank you! You are so sweet. Wish you a rocking 2010 as well! Hey, can you tell me a good point-and-shoot digicam that I can buy as a sort of stepping stone to the DSLR? Right now I need a new camera and I don't think I'm ready (or have the money!) for an SLR. I was looking at the Panasonic Lumix but I'm not happy with the colours. I took the moon pix with that (borrowed from a friend) though, the zoom is pretty good.
@AGG - Thank you darling, and what happened to "chick"? I love it, especially when you say it ;-)
Wishing for you the best of life, love and happiness for the year ahead and to last a lifetime. Have a very happy 2010
Check out this story, Cloud :-)
