Coffee walnut choco chip loaf. Made two of these today for a couple of friends who ordered them for their friends. I can't believe people are actually paying me for my cakes and gifting them to others!
We've come a long way baby! Me and my sweet tooth ;-)
These cakes are extra special because I've used the rich dark cocoa powder made by my friend! How awesome is that?
The brand is CocoaCraft and is manufactured by Kuruvilla & Sons, based out of Cochin in Kerala. I think for now it's available only in Cochin but I'm trying to get them to distribute it in Bombay.
This is not a plug. Trust me, this cocoa powder is divine! The best part - can be used for baking and drinking chocolate.

Yummmmmm. I'd order too if I were there.
I hope your goodies get super-famous and you get many, many orders.
Oh dear, I'm hungry, I think I'll go have tea and something.
I feel like I'm in India or something, my mother has been playing a Naushad CD all day. He's a good musician though.
*was* I mean, he *was* a good musician.
Do you play music all day, Cloud? Listen to music while you cook, dance like crazy in de keecheen?
good luck, cc!
:)
@GG - I listen to music ALL the time. From the time I wake up till I go to bed at night (which is like 2 am). When I'm out of the house, I have the iPod stuck in my ears. I love listening to music especially when I'm working in de keecheen - cooking, baking, cleaning up or whatever.
@Mentalie - Thank you :-)
I salute to you the Goddess of Cakes and to K for her self control... I have heard great reports already
There's a scene in a movie with Salma Hayek in de keecheen, she was cooking and dancing like crazy, I love it.
@Knife - Yes, K forwarded me one of the text messages last evening, and it made me grin from ear to ear!
@GG - I think it's from the movie Fools Rush In. I have lost count of the number of times I've watched it. I love the way she redecorates their house and the colours that she uses. I always wanted to have a house like that :-)
Salma Hayek would make a great heroine for a movie based on Anthony Capella's 'The Wedding Officer'.
That's a great selling point - to have your own hand made cocoa.
Cadbury's eat your heart out.
@Pat - It's not really hand made, but u can call it "home-made" in a certain sense. They have a start-of-the-art manufacturing unit set up at home. As you can see from the packaging, it's all very professional. Cadbury's cocoa sucks out here AND it's very expensive.
Tell me quick if you can deliver it to Delhi :) Looks delicious.
is one allowed to droll over your recent posts or would that just be too messy? :P
@Himanshu - The courier guys might eat it up. It happened to me once btw, my friend send me chocolate and it got eaten up AND replaced by cheap Dairymilk!
@Grace - Drool all you want, it's your keyboard and monitor that's gonna get messy. Not mine ;-)
i hope:
you know that i want it right now.
and you also know that you're mean
"all lookee no touchee"
ugh
